The Washington Post recently featured Alumnus and Illustrator Kevin Stanton in its Style Blog. Stanton, who creates intricate illustrations of layered hand-cut pieces of paper of different colors, was commissioned by Sterling Signature books to do illustrations for its Shakespeare play series after the editorial direct saw Stanton's work at a show put on by Pratt. His two-page paper-cut illustrations appear at the beginning of each of the five acts. The first two volumes are “Macbeth” and “Romeo and Juliet” are out now with “Much Ado About Nothing” and “Hamlet” to come in November.
