Design Milk recently featured undergraduate industrial design student Casey Daurio as part of its inaugural “Designer Dailies Student Edition” column. The column typically looks at a day in the life of a designer; Daurio was the first student to be featured. Daurio, who will graduate in 2013, gave Design Milk a peek into his world on the occasion of Pratt's 125th Anniversary Gala. He designed this year's gala awards and attended the gala as a student who has benefitted from scholarships at Pratt Institute. Pratt raised just over $1 million in ticket sales at this year's gala, with proceeds benefitting student scholarships.
